Application in water treatment
Compared to other conventional separation projects, the RO separation process has its unique advantages:
(1) Pressure is the main driving force of the RO separation process, without phase change of energy-intensive exchange, low energy consumption;
(2) RO does not require a large number of precipitants and adsorbents, and the operating cost is low;
(3) RO separation engineering design and operation are simple, and the construction period is short;
(4) RO purification efficiency is high and environmentally friendly. Therefore, RO technology has been widely used in domestic and industrial water treatment, such as seawater and brackish water desalination, medical and industrial water production, pure water and ultrapure water preparation, industrial wastewater treatment, food processing concentration, gas separation, etc.
